Blackberry Service Outage?
Please Login to Remove!
Anyone else experiencing service outage the last couple of days? I haven't gotten e-mail notifications even though I have e-mails. Also BB Messenger isn;t working and some other applications I have DL like Viigo and Pocket Express are not working either.

Have you tried a battery pull yet? Re-registered via the HRT? Re-sent the service books? Deleted and re-added the email account on the T-Mobile BIS website?

I ran a Diagnostic Test run on my BB and it states the following:
E-Mail Address:
*******@yahoo.com
Connected to
*******@yahoo.com: No
Anyone know how to fix that?

Everything's been working fine in Michigan and I have a few users in Canada on business this weekend and no calls from them. I'm sure we would've heard through the mail list if something was wrong and affecting more then a few people.

You have 8320, right?
Try disabling WiFi and see if it helps.

Actually the WiFi was disabled....I enabled it and it now works. Go figure. It's weird because I have enabled/disabled WiFi before, but never ecountered any problems.

I'm having the same problem since the upgrade! I can send/receive on wifi, but I'm completely borked with receiving (PIN, messenger, mail, web) when I go back to cell.
Any ideas?

What did you upgrade to? Did you try resending the Service Books.
What is borked, anyway?

OK, all is not fixed. E-mail, Web, BB Mesenger only works with WiFi. Cannot connect to Network. On the phone wiht T-Mobile for 45 minutes, and it seems it is a RIM issue. Will call them tomorrow.

Right... RIM issue... Sure...
Let me explain: both WiFi and GPRS are just data transport that connects your device to same RIM servers.
If WiFi works - RIM servers do work.
If GPRS does not work but we have established RIM servers do work (see above), that means GPRS data transport is not working.
T-Mobile owns GPRS data transport.

I reset the phone default settings, and ServiceBooks don;t even come through anymore. The E-Mail Setup Wizard is gone as is the SMS/Text icon and BB Messenger icons. Gonna call RIM tomorrow with the T-Mobile rep.
