I'm not sure if anyone has asked, but I was wondering where I can find the Bible for the storm? If it's possible let me know where and I don't mind paying for it. FREE would be good though.

Here's a good reader that's currently in beta test for Storm: http://www.blackberryforums.com/afte...a-testing.html The reader is not free. You can download several public domain translations for it free of charge. You can also buy additional translations for it that are not in the public domain. Some of the strengths of this reader are that it works completely offline (no network connection needed) and you can store the Bible files on your media card (thus not taking up device memory).

When I was using a Palm I loved MyBible by Laridian. While they do not have a BB version they do offer another version for BB, called Noah Bible Study Viewer. I don't know much more about it, but can be viewed at:

Does anyone know if YouVersion plans to make their software available for the Storm? I tried downloading what they now have on my Storm, but, of course, it doesn't work for the Storm. Looks like a great Bible program!

YouVersion for the Storms works great!

Download and install the app... then once installed, on your BlackBerry go to Options > Advanced > Applications. Scroll over YouVersion not clicking it, click Menu > Disabled Compatibility.

Now go use YouVersion and enjoy.

(Funny enough, our Pastor even mentioned YouVersion from the pulpit a couple weeks ago, that he was using it on his BlackBerry)

I agree with all the favorable comments for YouVersion. And yes it does work well on the Storm. I too use to use Laridian on the Palm but didn't like their blackberry options so looked into YouVersion.

I had used Laridian on my pocketPC for years. I loved it. But I tried their option on my Storm and was really disappointed. The reader was as basic/plain as could be. Seemed totally featureless. So I have tried two others so far, BibleReader from OliveTree which isn't bad, just will require me to re-purchase the versions I had before on Laridian.
Now just loaded the YouVersion. Seems this one downloads everything live instead of keeping the Bible local. Is this what you see? Could be a problem when I travel and may not have phone services. (especially overseas).
