is there any build that doesn't do this anymore? SO annoying -- especially because it only happens in a SMS, not email or BBM.

Alt-Del in SMS works as it's supposed to on my 9700, OS 5.0.0.656 (deletes the char on the right of the cursor).

I've ever seen it broken on any BB, any version.

It fixed itself on the latest build I installed, but whatever the latest AT&T build is definitely had this error.
