Lookie here: -->> Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

You will need "Method Two".

I do know where the search button is and I did come across that. However, I'm looking to completely wipe it*. Is this possible? :P
Also, do you know what MFI Multiloader does?

Edit: I remember asking a long time ago if it's possible to debrand a blackberry. Apparently, with MFI Multiloader, it is.

*EDIT: 'it' referring to the IT policy.

forfriends, If you want to take a chance with the illegal stolen software, have at it. You won't get help with it here. If you brick your device (which has happened with the MFI software many times), you'll be on your own.

You initial post didn't say anything about wanting to wipe the device. But you can do that as well with JLCmder... and remove the IT Policy separately as described in the link. However, just a "wipe" will not always remove the IT Policy as your PC may contain the policy and will be put back on the device if you aren't aware.

MFI is not something that we discuss here since it's illegal.

You cannot debrand it.....sorry.

I understand. I'm not really keen on using it. I just want to completely remove the IT policy on my 7730 - an ex company phone which was given to me.

But is it okay to just tell me what MFI's purpose is?

Sorry, in my first response I meant completely wipe the IT policy.

There is no way to wipe an IT Policy on an olde BB like he 7730. You have to copy a blank one in place, as specified in the link in post #2.

You can erase the apps and data on a BB - look here - How do I wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder? - BlackBerryFAQ - but that won't erase an IT Policy.

MFI is a utility designed by RIM for their use.

You don't "completely wipe" an IT Policy on that model. You replace it with a BLANK policy. Third time... use the instructions, Method Two , in the link.

No, we don't want to tell you what the MFI software purpose is... it's stolen property.

Heh. That made me smile a little bit. How did you guys find out in the first place? :P

As for it being the third time, it wasn't made clear to me that it is *impossible* to completely remove the IT policy like it is for models running a newer OS. But thanks anyway, I guess I'll follow through with method #2.
