Hi,
My BB8100 cannot sync or do anything with the desktop manager. I keep getting the error
Failed to connect to the device. Please make sure that the device is properly connected and try again.
I have tried a battery pull countless times, searching these and other forums and I've tried on another computer too with no success. Anyone have any idea?

Btw I'm running DM 5.0. Sounds like the issue
http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...rl-8130-a.html here. Also, I can access the media card fine on the computer. I've heard a wipe will fix this but I'd prefer not to do that as I'd like to connect to backup first!
