Wow - a newbie with an attitude. Doesn't know how to delete messages and yet knows everything.

I do not even know the poster. But I already dislike you.

And you are NOT one of the decent users, as far as I can tell.

Please heed my words - you will not remain welcome here with that attitude.

LOL - you have already earned yourself a one way ticket out.

LOL - 3 day ban. May be increased, since other moderators have already noticed your attitude.

Enjoy.

Well, I do not blame you. Thatxxx8217;s all you can probably do. I would have done the same if catching you on one of my forums.
Have a lovely Easter dude and remember, Easter means forgiving.

Some more shots. The Pearl is really bright because of the color changing app, and it is not at all affected by the keyboard light.

That's cool. Looks like the buttons on both sides of the trackball don't light up any more, though.

I have a seidio silicone skin on there. The kind that has a strip going across the 2 buttons on either side of the trackball.

I just wanted to say Cannon is the sh*t! I new he wasn't pulling anybodys leg. And he came through. But the only way I would gut my pearl to color the keypad, it would have to involve making the lights brighter. Can anyone come up with an app or "tweek" to do this!? Then I might risk it. Thanx.

Thanks for believeing in me. I dont think there is a way to make the keypad brighter. There are a fixed number of LED's under there and all of them are already working. The reason the trackball app made it alot brighter is because it turns on the color LED and the white one under the trackball. The only thing you can do with the keypad is make it dimmer or change the color. I can't think of a way to make is brighter.

Why wasn't I here when this thread was alive (Insert sad face here). Nice pictures canon, like you've joined about the same time I have and you've been a lot of help to me too, as for the other guy... don't hate, give time, he said it once and don't accuse him, this is a forum and people are helping out of their free will and not obligated to provide you with pictures. Now as for my question, canon I thought you said above that you put blue strips or something to light em up, then you provided below a picture of a dry erase marker. So I'm confused as to which you used, some clarifications please =D Thanks.

Canon put the blue strips on it leds and then colored them with the dry erase marker to make the color more rich. Canon if this is wrong you can correct me. I believe that is what canon did.

Why not just cover the white LED under the trackball with a black sharpie?

I put blue sharpie on my LED under the trackball and after sometime the sharpie was burnt. I guess the LED emmits enough heat to bake the sharpie ink. As for the other que, I took some scoth tape ---> colored it with the dry erase marker i showed the pic of and then put the strips of tape over the LED. There are 4 rows under there. THe outside 2 have 4 LED's and the inside 2 have 3 LEDs. I used the tape to absorb the heat and distribute it over the whole piece of tape instead of directly onto the ink.
