Is there an easy way to restore all installed third party applications?

Thanks!

cheerful, are you asking how to backup and restore third-party apps? Or are you looking for an easier way than the way you are doing it?

Yes, back them up and restore them, instead of installing them one by one.

Thanks!

Here is one way: How do I backup my Third Party Applications on my BB? - BlackBerryFAQ

Also take a look at BBSAK. I believe it has a function to backup third-party apps. See http://www.bbsak.org/features.php.

I have not done either one, so can just point on this one.

Although note that 9 times out of 10, the configuration settings after restore are generally lost. I don't think I've ever had a 3rd party plugin restore with all the settings I had prior...

You might try BBSAK Blackberry Swiss Army Knife.

You can backup all Apps and do a restore.

Installed. Always get "No Device Detected, Push OK to continue".

DM can connect w/o a problem.

Am I missing any setting?

Used the switch device wizard on Windows 7 64-bit. I can't find any folder with *.alx file. Do you know where it's located?

Click on the Start button and type

%temp%

in the search box. That should take you to a folder named the same as your device PIN.
