In English...search the forum for "background images."

OR

Save the picture on your desktop, open your email, email the picture to your phone, then open the attached picture, then save. Then go into pictures on the phone, then click the desired picture, then click Save as Background Image.

i'll admit to being confounded re pictures.

i have a bb 7280, color.

i have a camera phone.

i try to email a photo FROM camera phone TO my 7280 via my email, and my BB account.

nothing seems to cause it to work.

when i receive it and try to open the atachment, i am told there is no application with which to open it.

my application: i bike ride throughout the world, and use my BB to send daily updates to family and friends. I would like to embed a couple of photos in my email messages if that is possible.

any ideas?

That is because your cell phone does not save pics in a compatible format (jpg, gif, ect) You would need to email from your cell to your desktop and then save and resend to your bb. Or you could check the forums for pic transferring applications.

you can use ascendphoto, google it, you can send pics from your comp onto your bb directly over cable/bluetooth.

it is payware but there is a trial. only thing is you cant set them as background but u can set it to do a slideshow screensaver which is really cool.

Yep, the best way to get the photos over to the BB is by USB. There aren't that many apps that do this and I agree with Ashgotti that Ascendo Photos does the best job.
