. Sometimes people do just randomly suggest a battery pull no matter what the symptoms. I myself have seen this pull rectify many-an-issue so it's often the first thing many ask.
Yes that reactivation would require a password to be set on the BES. The end user could then perform a wireless enterprise activation using the BES email address & the password set by the admin.
It's not often this link is just "lost" for no apparent reason. But the "EA" is the quickest way to avoid painstaking trouble-shooting.
