Can someone tell me how to set a particular signature so when i send emails and text messages it is already there? I am on AT&T using curve 8310 if it matters, thanks, J

you have to set it up on the BIS site... so when you added your email for PUSH on AT&Ts push site there should be a place for you to enter a signature...

blackberry gmail sent - Google Search
first result

as far as I know signatures cannot be attached to SMS messages, at least not through BIS as it doesn't deal with SMS

For a signature in sms you could create an auto text entry where xx = John Doe for example. Then to add signature just type xx and hit trackball or space bar.

Multiple contacts? Is the device used? If you can wipe the whole device and start over with factory settings. Otherwise, it's one at a time or if you used the Desktop Manager you can clear the entire Contact Database at once.

menu>Options>Autotext>menu>New

Replace
xx

With
Your Signature

Menu>Save

When you type "xx" it will automatically change it to "Your Signature"
