Red face HTML Email T-Mobile 8320!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Ok so I resent service book threw the web and I got the GET HTML on my options for email.

It is ok not what I expected. It does not show tables in the emails or the pictures which sucks. All it really did was lay it out a little easier to read.

Maybe its cus its not fully loaded on the servers yet?

Well this is happening to me too on 8310 as well as lots of other users too here.

You can check this posts too:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...s-problem.html

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...hotmail-3.html

http://www.blackberryforums.com/netw...eaches-uk.html

I can say that today while checking my Media Card Photos, i found all email images in "EMV Cache" but can't seem to display it on the html email.

Just a guess, this might be related to compatibility between carriers BIS servers & the specific release of OS 4.5.

But till now, nobody really came up with specific reason why this is happening !!

Wirelessly posted (bb8320TMO)

I thoght I was going to have to drop empower if html was offered with 2.5 BIS. But empwer has been perfect and I see that the new BIS is short of perfect, so I'll stick with perfect.

I sent myself an HTML email and it seems to work fine with 4.5.0.46.

I used Windows Mail and sent a few words with HTML color, a link as well as a picture of which all were visible on my BlackBerry 8320 with BIS via T-Mobile.

I'm not sure if it was necessary but I resent my service books so if your not getting HTML with T-Mobile you may want to do that.

re-sending the service books is a must for enabling this HTML feature

I didnt have to resend them, I think this is more carrier specific. Empower email was cool, but this is the best for me, The emails look exactly like what in the original email for me.... I am running .44 btw

For #1 perhaps hitting the Menu button and clicking on the 'Get Images'
should load the images?
For #2 the EMVCache folder can be found on the MicroSD card.
One can navigate to this using the >Media > Pictures utility
and going to My Pictures folder.

Hope that helps.

Default no images solution (worked for me)

tmo 8320 .46...I think I found the solution to image boxes but no images.... it was not until I deleted the existing service books and pulled the battery and then resent the books did all images display correctly.

Just sending the service books without deleting got me html formatting but no images.

Ok, it's working better now. I can see links and colors but still has blank images. I tried "get images" but it didn't work. I'm not complaining at all, I have .10 still and I don't want to update quite yet as it has been stable for months...

Just a quick update, I had the same problem with my 8820 on T-mobile running .46. This worked perfectly for me, thank you!
