Oddly, tmobile gave the unlock code for the phone... It was Tmobile launch party and the phones are branded tmobile. How in the world do I get it replace by RIM??

Well in that case TMo is your answer then. I didn't understand from your previous post that detail. But still, after a year...

T-Mobile doesn't give an unlock code for the device. They give you a code to have service activated for free for 30-90 days, depending on the event. These are very similar to 'seed' devices.

Also, from what I've heard, there won't be any business-oriented launch events for the 9100, although we may see one for the 9300 if it launches on T-Mobile.

Not true well at least for tmo. They give you a sim card with service for 90 days, that includes unlimited data and sms and 5000 mins with no night and weekends not special code or special numbers. It worked the min you received the phone, I walked out the event with 3 gold bb 8320's. The sim cards was register to tmobile usa in some city in Washington. The area code was weird. And two, tmobile gave me the unlock code for one of the phones. Since I already had service with them and never ask for a unlock code. Once the card was used I was able to get it unlocked and then I gave it to my friend who has Att. got the unlock code in less than 4 hours even though they stated 24 hours.

I remember doing #225# and the my under that number and my bill was 7000 dollars!!
