So, I have been absent from the forums for a while because my employer must have had a stroke 18 months ago and moved us all to Android platform after being on BB for YEARS. After much begging and pleading, we are now allowed to chose our device and pay any difference from the "standard" upgrade, which, of course, is always free. Anyway, my upgrade became available on Sunday, and on Monday, I had my Z10.

Firstly, I will say I love it. I know the apps will come if we spread the news that this is a great device. It blows away the Droid RAZR I was saddled with for the last year and something.

After a search, I am not finding an answer to this. I am using iTunes on my computer and have been using an iPod in my car. When I synchronized all the music to the Berry with Link, it worked fine (S L O W, took 45 minutes for about 1200 songs). However, no playlists came over. I sent all the music. If I drag the playlist to the device, it says the songs are already there. Yep. I know. I want the LIST to be there so I can use the playlist on the phone.

Anyone? I am a refreshed newbie and missing something here?

the only comment on Itunes playlist sync related to any BB is that the issue is due to an Itunes issue and the file needs to be rebuilt.

this link may not be exactly for the Z10 but it may lead you in the direction for a fix.

Based on what you found, I dug around and found the instructions to re-create the library files. That repaired the playlists that I wanted and added some additional ones I suspect most people have out of the box, but I did not. (And I won't use anyway)
