What you describe isn't possible, at least not so far as I know, and at least it is not what I see. On that screen you might see lattitude and longitude coorindates, but not a street address and apartment number. At any rate, you should be able to disable disable location services unless, perhaps, it is locked on by an IT policy.

I see the address of my current location on that screen. It is picking it up from the GPS location.

But yes, if you don't want that there, turn off the Location Services.

But why are you concerned about that showing there? You are the only one who can see it.

Ok. I learned something. On second look, I see last line in the location block is address, but my BlackBerry is showing unknown. I had not noticed that.

I agree with MM, too. What is the worry? Unless it isn't the fact that the the address is showing there, per se, but the whole location services function. But even on that, I see the risk as so small to not worry about it, and the benefits are huge.

EDIT: I refreshed and now see an address instead of unknown. It isn't accurate, but there is an address. This is new to me.

Please do not type in text speak. A bit of capitalization and punctuation will make it much more readable and get you a better response.
