Hi.. I have had problems with my Z10, ear speaker distortion etc and it is in for service. I backed up all my contact info etc using BB link... So now im back to my 9810 torch and you can not transfer contacts etc from the new OS of the BB10 to the old OS(torch). So i would at least try and view my backup to retrieve all my contact info and type it into my torch manually. My Z10 is already sent away so i can not view my contact list. Any way to do this by viewing my Z10 backup?

Wow, "read the post" what a novel idea. Listen up, I did read the first post where you tried to move contacts to the older BB. My post was accurate IF you botehred to read or even understood it. Maybe your too upset to bother.
Your second post with the same basic issue but either way you can move contacts via the services listed in the KB.

Not with live mail. A , you cannot transfer from bb10 to older os.
B. You cant transfer contacts from livemail to bb torch either. Thats a lesson in frustration.So i am limited to going through and typing them manually.
BTW. The link you provided gives me no info i need such as opening my z10 backup and reading it which is what i asked. Instead you just repost your link. I have looked at your link a dozen times.

BTW. My attitude towards BB is incredibly negative. Not only did my torch screw up and had to send it in for repair with a turn around of 2 months. I also got sucked into buying the Z10 in frustration because my torch was in repair.Little did i know that the z10 is a pile of crap which is now in for repair.
So yea. My attitude at this moment is not great. I just want to use A PHONE, any phone.

Understand, All I can say is the list showed two way transfer to services like Gmail etc. know you can get it back onto a 9810 9900 etc. So at this point all I can say is I hope your back soon. I have a lot of friends who have IPhones and it has it's own issues so I would say it can happen on anything.
