Default Call History disappeared

Hello all,

So here is my dilemma.

I have the Tmo 8900.

I was running 5.0.93 then because of the beta, downgraded to the 4.6.1.353, the one that is on here right now. On 5.0, I would always get unexemption errors. I got the same on 4.6. However, all seemed to work fine. Strangely, my icons under call log, that tell me if it was a missed call, incoming or outgoing disappeared and I dont see the View History of the call either. I tried all options to find and see how to change it.

After being unsuccessful, I went back to the release prior to the .353

Good thing, I removed all third party apps, did not receive the error, but still have the same issue.

Any ideas on this? I really use the View History under call logs.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. View History: when you select a certain call, click menu, there is the VIEW HISTORY option. That has gone, disappeared.

The same probleme happened to me yesterday, i lost all my messages and the call logs. and when someone new calls after like 1 minute the history is deleted and i cannot see you miss called me or who even called me and i couldn't answer. i have the Curve 8310

Time to check how much free memory you have. Go to Options>Status and check the number under "Memory Free". It will likely be very small.

Here are some steps for freeing up some additional memory:

Thanks for the reply guys.

I have over 120+MB free memory. Almost just a couple 3rd party apps. I use viigo, but close it everytime. Strange thing is that it is happening on all 4.6

I guess there is no resolution to this. I plan to do a full wipe and reinstall 4.6 and if that does not work, go back to 5.0 and see how things are. Will inform.

I had this problem on the Pearl which I believe is a memory issue. No problems with the 8900.

If I had to guess I'd say that the problem was the beta 5.0. I bet that it messed with your call logs and so no matter what you downgrade to they're gone. Not sure why the View History option isn't there on the OS now though. Can you wipe/restore?
