Default Service Book

What is the purpose of the Service Book?

I have an email account and I mistakenly erased the [CICAL] & [CMIME] for it in the service book section of my Storm2.

I am still getting email from that account (which is what I want) but I am wondering what it does and what my deletion did in the way of changing the operation. If I need the service book haw do I get it back?

Maybe using SEARCH or reading the FAQ would help?

Thanks for the information. I am still not sure why I need it since it seemed to have everything work fine. I did get the service book updated but with BIS the [CICAL] & [CMIME] seem not to have any real functionality that I can understand.

I don't know all the things the CICAL and CMIME service books control, but I do know if you don't have the CICAL service books you will not be able to send and receive calendar invites.

Also, I learned the other day that the specialized email folder icons, such as for Yahoo and windows live/hotmail are pushed with the service books. I noticed my icons had reverted to the default the other day, though email was working fine. I resent service books and the icons returned.

Bottom line, if you are missing the CICAL and CMIME service books you should resend service books just because you don't know what all is going on with service books. Just because you don't realize anything is wrong doesn't mean all is ok. And if you keep losing service books, you need to figure out why.
