Now when I try, It says,
Error playing, can not find web address. verify that this web address is valid

I had the exact same problem with getting the message, "Error playing, can not find web address. Verify that this web address is valid."
I did the battery pull suggestion as was mentioned before by other users and now i can bring up the videos on youtube and other streaming sites as well.

same problem
for what it is worth, I am unable to play video when connected to wifi as well (error occurred attempting to play media). Most of the time, I am unable to play when on EDGE as well (typical error in that instance is 'web address' error, although others sometimes come up including 'network communication error' despite good signal). I am also unable to play wmv files whether streaming, attachment, or saved to device or memory card. Have experimented with conversion softwares and file sizes, etc. Best I can get on those is the audio portion on a black screen in media player.
I have open trouble tickets with ATT and Blackberry and have trouble-shooted this thing to death with no less than 8 techs at each respective orginization, for hours and hours. Admittedly, watching videos is hardly a NEED, but now for me as a technician, it is the principle and not being able to accept, 'gee, we don't know'. ATT has offered me buyers remorse, yeah, like I have a choice. We are rolling out hundreds of 8320's to replace our 8700 clan, I can just see the service calls coming in now...
For me, this problem followed my account through a 9000, an 8820 and 2 8320's. Have wiped and reloaded (fully, NUMEROUS times) the OS (4.5.0.110 now, Multilanguage and East Asian) using 4.6 and 4.7 destop manager from multiple computers. Have swapped SIMS, and have done literally everything (we think anyway, both ATT and BB are stumped thus far). Multiple memory cards, multiple devices, multiple SIMS, multiple wifi networks, multiple locations throughout city, various combinations of browser settings, reprovisioning service books, BES security policies, etc etc etc.
I am a BB tech and have another tech in another of our offices that has followed the same path as I have in device testing and it always works for him, never for me. Whether or not he had an SD card, whether or not his wifi is on or off, whichever browser he feels like using, etc. Seems to me that this may be a thus far undocumented glitch in 4.5 (BB said they have nothing on it in their knowledge base, although it is easy to find several users on various forums with same problem obviously), OR with ATT account 'restrictions' or an unknown piece of the account at ATT that is preventing this from working for me and not my counterpart. They have side-by-side comparison of the accounts and aren't seeing it however.
Hope no one else pulls their hair out troubleshooting this too. Looks like it just won't work for some without resorting to a 3rd party software, despite the 8320 and 4.5 OS officially having the 'capability'.

youtube/streaming video
I have the Blackberry Curve 8330 with os 4.5. I am able to view youtube video only when using the standard BB browser. It doesn't work with Operamini
The issue may be with your Carrier. Some limit the amount of streaming video.
Good Luck!

If Bolt (browser) can get their act together, that may be the solution for everyone. The latest version of Bolt lets you save YouTube videos directly to your phone as 3gp files. The videos look great, but (at least for me) this version is only grabbing the first 90 seconds or so of each video.

Even with the OS upgrade my youtube viewing is spotty. I have to check out Bolt with youtube since I have it on my phone. Bolt is far superior than Opera or the BB browser in terms of access speed.

Yep. That has to do with how YouTube compresses the video for the mobile site.

With my T-Mo 8320 with v4.5.0.81 I was just able to view m.youtube.com, search for 'gto' and watch the first video.

Nope. Some are just that way, unfortunately. Maybe YouTube will come up with a better compression scheme in the future.

I think it's the format of the video. If the video is uploaded as a 3GP or AVI, it will work. If it was uploaded as say a WMV, it probably won't.
