I wear mine in a shirt pocket, in an OEM gel skin to keep it from sliding out. Works well.

Holsters are for these.

And while my wife likes that I'm her geek I don't think the holster is affecting my love life.

I have a holster, but would never wear it. Ick. When I'm carrying a purse I clip it to the edge of the purse so I don't have to dig for it. I hate carrying a purse though.

I couldn't fit the bb in my pants pockets - you know women wear their pants a lot tighter than men do, and the pockets are really small. Some don't even have pockets. So I always try to wear a coat or jacket with pockets that I can put the bb in.

Men are so lucky - you all have big pockets. What do you need the holster for?

And dropping it into the toilet is a serious occupational hazard for women.

Don't even get me started on people who wear their bluetooth headsets like its a fashion accessory.

I keep my Pearl in my pants pocket when I'm walking about, and just leave it out when I'm sitting at a desk/meeting. I'm not terribly concerned about looking silly - if they say anything nasty, I'll just cut their connection to the network ;)

i always have mine in my genuine blackberry holster, its always on mi hip (unless at home where its beside me).

as for it being a geek item... i have to disagree... whenver i go out, everytime i go to talk to a lady they always look at it and ask why i own a blackberry, my answer "i own a business" and thats when the numbers fly into the phone lol

Cory, so you aren't attractive enough to attract women based on your looks? It's the business you own? If so, rock the holster!

Us man don't carry purses... and I hate having it in my pocket... along with the keys and change.. it is a recipe for a scratched screen. O, and I hate those condom like things that go over the BB.

I like my condom like thing that goes over my blackberry. Only problem I have with it is that it makes it harder to slide into a pocket because the rubber tends to grab the other material. I also like to clip the holster inside my purse so I have a designated spot for it so it's easy to find.
