Default HTML/Crap in E-mails

Please Login to Remove!

What ever happened to the days of old, when people just sent text in e-mails? Now all I get are e-mails chocked full of HTML. The HTML does not display properly, and I get to see crap in my e-mail on my Blackberry now. Does anyone know of a solution for a this, or a work around to this, as it has become very annoying.

As always, Thanks.

Search for 'html email' in the Aftermarket Software forum.
Several solutions have been offered and discussed in pretty lengthy detail.

Does anyone on this forum currently utilize such solutions, and if they do, can someone please provide their personal opinion regarding the effectiveness of the software.

Thanks,

Many people use these solutions. There are currently two available. One by user eZainny and another by user ani. As suggested above a search of the Aftermarket Software forum will bring results. If you can't find them then look for posts by the above two users and you will find lots of opinions on their products.

I use the product created by eZainny. It works well and I love it. Finally I won't need to delete most of the HTML email in my BB and read them from PC anymore

I've been using the Empower email viewer (Get Empowered) and really like it. Haven't tried any of the others for comparison, though.

Which one, out of the two products you listed, are the best?

each has its own strengths and weaknesses, thus coexisting and both doing well. overall, they generally do the same thing... it's up to you... give them both a try

there's another html viewer that is free that i've seen on pinstack (empower is 10 i think, and BBsmart viewer is like 25)

give it a search and try them all out... see which one works best for you.

I have to make major decisions all day. These decisions usually affect a lot of people and are far reaching within the company. i was hoping, just once in my life, I would not have to make such big decisions

I will read up about the two products, and hopefully be able to find one that will make my e-mail on my device a little more enjoyable

Thanks to all who replied, and shared.

I'm using the Mobylo Empower email viewer as well. I have been pretty happy with it.

I believe it takes the email text and renders it using the BlackBerry browser. The app is tiny since it is so simple.

I went with empower also. Mostly because it was about a third the size and price of the other.

Both have free trial time periods and I am sure they will "bend over backwards" to assist you if you are looking at multiple licenses.

Both have pros and cons.

There have been heated discussions over the two products and that may be why some of us are advising you to read what has been said about the products, as opposed to opening up the debate again.
