Default cgi script position incorrect

Please Login to Remove!

If you are using the cgi script on a private site change the $pos variable to the following in the script and the replace will be correctly positioned. The highlight is incorrect but the word is positioned correctly. I'm still trying to figure out the highlighting.

my $pos = $posAbsolute + ($tokens[$offsetIdx] - 2);

The problem can't be fixed on the server side. It's a problem in the client with how it interacts with BB OS versions greater than 4.02. I modified the client to fix the issue and fkatsumi compiled and signed it for me, the file is posted in message 66 of this thread.

I havent seen this posted yet. I get an error saying that my IT policy does not allow a connection inside and outside the firewall. I am BIS not BES so I am not sure where it is pulling an IT policy from other than the default one. Just an FYI.

The default policy does not allow Split Pipe connections which is (or should be) impossible if you are not on a BES. A split pipe would be an application connecting to the BES MDS and the Public MDS at the same time, where the security concern is that it could potentially send private information externally.

I had those same issues a while back and the first thing I found out was that My BB had been on a BES and had had an IT Policy instituted. Removing via the method that has been discussed in the forum helped however i still had to install and reinstall the application several times with full resets in betweeen, I also removed it from the list of applications to be loaded in the desktop manager, with a pc reboot as well. Eventually it started working.

When I install and enter the server URLs nothing happens. I get no prompt and it acts as if I never installed the program. BBSpell used to work. BBcorrector is not doing anything for me - ?

Did you reboot? The "Spelling" menu item does not show up until after you reboot.

I have a 7250 and it works great for me please post what you did to install it if you rebooted, and who your carrier is, also whether you are on BES or not.
