Default track wheel vs roller ball

Please Login to Remove!

any chance of there being a phone like the curve but w/ a track wheel instead of the ball?...Im used to the 8700 but want the curve cuz of the camera...

I am afraid that is probably not going to happen.

I moved from the wheel to the ball, and needed some time to get used to it. Now I love it.

You will most likely grow used to the trackball after a day or two of using the curve if you decide to go that route!

The ball is much better. I was skeptical at first, too but adapted within days and would never go back.

Agree with the above posts. Another point is the ball is multi directional. I remember back in the old days of the trackwheel and I had to press ALT then use the track wheel to go right/left. Once you go ball you never come back!

I'm one of those freaks that actually prefers the thumbwheel to the trackball. I really miss it. Sure, I've gotten used to the trackball and it doesn't bug me, but the wheel was better IMHO. I liken it to the difference between SureType and QWERTY. I got used to SureType too, but coming back to QWERTY reminded me how much better it is.
