I think we're out of luck. Maybe in the next release.

Hope this helps.

And nothing mentioned on the Plazmic forum. I'm hoping for some flexibility with the Date/Time fonts as well as the homescreen fonts for the menu words at the bottom of the icon theme.

Are you talking about changing the colors of the homescreen fonts, or replacing them with different a font. I believe the homescreen fonts are fixed in colors, but you can replace them with other fonts.

Hope this helps.

You can download it here: http://www.plazmic.com/en/products/index.shtml#content

But you'll have to be running 4.1 on your blackberry to load the themes.

Here's a screenshot of a theme I made in about 10 minutes:

I've just purchased the Blackberry 7100r not too long ago and the OS on it comes with v4.0.

It really stinks that I can't use CDK v4.1 and load my customized themes on it. And what really sucks is that there is no OS upgrade for my 7100r handheld.

Lack of support is what I find in the Blackberries...

The newest handheld code for the 7100r is 4.0.2 (thats what I had on the 7100r before I sold it) then went to the 8700r. I don't think the next update will come before March.

It means that when the CDK converts the JPG image to PNG its size becomes greater than 60 kBytes. Try savivg your image as a png file and then check the size. This phenomenon is noted the the documentation that came with the CDK. Also the themes created with Theme Builder require handset OS 4.1.

Hope this helps.

Click here and you can find your carriers most up to date software. The link says 4.0 but if your Berries handheld code is higher you'll find it there.

Profit?

Last time I checked, everything that Plazmic provides is free: the CDK (including Theme Builder and Composer), Custom Themes on mobile.blackberry.com, and games (Rooster, CirclePopper and MeteorCrusher) on mobile.blackberry.com.

Apparently, this is a known issue.... Should be fixed within a week.

I guess I mis-read their website. I thought they provided content development consultation and support. I didn't realize that their CDK and Themes. and Games were their only products, I stand corrected. Anyway, I think they are owed a thunderous round of applause for providing the CDK and Theme Builder, in addition to the Games, Themes and Ringtones.

BTW, are you the Petey from Plazmic?

Thanks for your Help.

Any thoughts as to which Java Virtual Machine I should be using. CDK won't work without it apparently.

As discussed in the first few posts of this thread, you need thr Plazmic CDK, the correct version of the Blackberry SDk or JDK (can't remember if which is the correct acronym) and the correct version of the Sun JDk.

Hope this helps.

I think it will be Blackberry JDE 4.1.1.0 (84mb file).
It works with Plasmic CDK 4.1

I don't have the download link at the moment.

Java version 1.5 or higher (I believe) is required, for the Plazmic CDK 4.1.

The alx will not appear on the BB, but the cod dile will. This is done with the application loader option of the BB desktop manager.

Hope this helps.
