Sprints call waiting is pathetic, if I am missing something, please let me know

1. you can not see who is on the other line (as you can with nextel)
2. the incoming call continues to beep at me on my BB8703, even after I hit ignore.
3. the person im talking to hears a pause in my voice when the beep comes through.

You can watch TV on a sprint phone, but cant get real call waiting?

So must I choose between patchy and weak GSM signals, and having a real call waiting?

I cannot run a business if my customers constantly hear pauses in my voice because my wife wont stop calling ... LOL .. I need call waiting so I can take important sales calls, so the *70 is not an option.

Are there any solutions to this? Does Verizon support better call waiting? Is GSM as bad everywhere as it is in my city? Grand Rapids, MI.... I go inside a building, and my GSM phone is dead.

RE: #1 are you refering to the second incoming call? I try calling my 8703 while on a call and the caller ID showed up correct? Maybe I'm miss understanding you.

It shows the second call, but if you try to ignore the second call, it continues to beep in your ear, and interrupting your voice to the person on the first call.

And when you try to switch back and forth, it never updates the name of the caller you are currently talking to, as the others do.
