My daughter damaged her BB and needed her contacts. So, I backed up my own BB then restored a backup of her phone to my BB. She then backed her contacts from my phone to Gmail. I then restored my backup and all was well.

She now has her BB back which is fixed and working as normal.

However, I'm now getting the odd one or two BB Messanger invites to my phone which were intended for her.

What can I do to fix this please?

Some issues with doing a transfer and then back can cause the BBM to have sent the wrong pin to some contacts. The wrong pin being the temporary BB you used. You might try deleting all BBM contacts on your phone and on her phone doing the same and restore her contacts by sending a new request.



The following outlines the multiple methods and order in which your BlackBerry Messenger contact list is restored to your BlackBerry smartphone when switching BlackBerry smartphones or preceeding a Security Wipe.

If you have an BlackBerry Internet Service Email account associated to your BlackBerry smartphone, when switching BlackBerry smartphones or preceeding a Security Wipe, the BlackBerry Messenger will prompt you to recover your contact list.
If a BlackBerry Internet Service account doesn't exist, but the BlackBerry Desktop Manager Switch Device Wizard is utilized, the BlackBerry Desktop Manager will automatically restore a copy of your contacts list.
If neither BlackBerry Internet Service account is associated or the BlackBerry Desktop Manager Switch Device Wizard methods are used, the only way to recover your contact list is by restoring from a previous backup file.
