I have been a BB user for many years. I reviewed, and played with, an AT&T Tilt last week and am impressed. I like the windows OS and the ability to load additional sotware, as well as the availability of it. We use HH software that works well with the phone but cannot be loaded onto a BB.

Any thoughts about going with a windows based smart phone?

Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt!

They crash way to much, never found one so far that doesn't freese or stop working every few days. Way to buggy, there is a lot of software out there but again, not written very well and all in all the handsets just are not as well crafted as the BlackBerrys.

I have been a happy WinMo used for a year with a HTC Touch... Had no big problem with this unit and with this OS...

It's just different from BB but not bad IMHO

It's really a matter of preference. You can do more with a WinMo device but BB devices seem a bit more stable. You can only make that decision after usibh it yourself.

I've tried to use Windows Mobile devices, tried to like them, and always came running back to my Blackberry. It takes too many steps to accomplish the same task on WM as it does on a Blackberry. It's the menu structure. Just too many menus and sub-menus to drill through to get to the final outcome.

The beauty of Windows Mobile is the ability to customize your device, but that's a double-edged sword. The more apps you add, the less stable your device becomes. So the big selling point is also the platform's downfall.
