I have the same problem and I went through the steps described in both articles and ran into a roadblock because I don't have administrative rights. Went through the same deal with them and their solution was to copy the files from my cd to my desktop and install from there. I wasn't exactly shocked when that didn't work!!!
That's where I'm at now, anyone have any ideas? The software was working for several months, then my intellisync icon disappeared which started this whole process. I'm running windows xp.
