HI,
I'm desperate.
I'm a newbie in BB world... I have put a 4 digits code to access to BB DESKTOP, and I've just been told that I should have entered letters (inother words: alphabetical digits!!??)

THe problem is that I used 2 zeros in my code and there is no correspondance with any letter??

What should I do...I have come up to my last Attempt to access to my BB!!

If anyone has any clue?
I have tried in french speaking forums but no chance!! Maybe this one will be of any help!!

Hi!!zombieberry! The problem is that I have got ONLY ONE last chance left!!
-1st step, I switch on my BB
-2nd step I enter my pin code OK
-3rd step I'm required to give the second password (the problem is that I chose for example "0102" there are 2 zeros in it and the zero has no alphabet correspondance!!!that 's the point.
i cannot enter or change it because I'm blocked at step 2!!

see what I mean?? I'm lost!!

Who told you to enter letters? Why is the zero (0) not working? Numbers are just fine! The zero is just the number zero on the PC keyboard. Something is wrong here.

Agree. Not making sense. Second password?

FYI the computer may be prompting you for the device password when it connects to the BlackBerry, and then Desktop Manager may prompt you as well. Both times you are being asked for the device password. And as said above, enter the same characters as you enter on the device.

Well, simply put the '0' where you have zeros...you need to remember that unless you press the 'alt' key before the key, the letter is used. The '0' and spacebar don't have alternate values, so pressing 'alt' does nothing to those keys.

So, if you thought that you entered 577012, but never used the 'alt' key, your pin would really be 'dzz0we'.

Not sure what BB you have but the Alt key is used to get the numbers on mine.
