Default 4.0.2.35 or newer fix Bluetooth low volume?

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone confirm that the notorious low Bluetooth volume issue has been resolved with the handheld software 4.0.2.35 or newer?

I heard this mentioned in another thread, but this issue has been around so long that I have a hard time believing it is fixed.

I have a 7290 (among others) and see that Hong Kong seems to be the only version of 4.0.2.35, but Cingular has a version on the way. I see that 4.0.2.37 is released for the Nextel crowd.

Any info would be appreciated.

Oh it's fixed alright, it's like having a whole new headset. My HS850 has never performed this well before.

4.0.2.36 for the 7290 and 7100g.

...or you could wait a few weeks and TMO will have out a version just a bit higher. probably 4.0.2.41 or so for the Apps (4.0.2.59 for the package).

The HS850 has the worst volume level on the market, the Blackberry software isn't going to save that one.

Out of the 10+ bluetooth headsets I've used, that was by far the most disappointing (lowest).

Love my HS850, never had any volume trouble with it really.. But with the new software it gets nice and loud with no problems...

Only headset I've found that can keep up with my talk times.. (Sometimes 5-6 hours a day)

Just to clarify, are you talking about T-Mobile releasing a new version for its BB (I have a 7290) beyond 4.0.2.32? I just downloaded this version and was going to upgrade but will wait if a new version is coming soon.

thanks
