Default Short delay when I skip tracks in media player

Please Login to Remove!

Yesterday I synced about 700 tracks onto my Curve 8330. The only problem is that there is a very noticeable delay between the time that I indicated next track (either with the volume control, 'n' key, or pressing the next button with the scroll ball) and the time that the track plays. I get the same problem when I want to play a previous track. Is there any reason for this, other than lag? Perhaps a way to disable this delay?

Also, if any other users have run into this problem, have you download aftermarket media player software like Miutunes or Flipside? Noticed a difference?

Thanks
