I would love to give you such a position, but unfortunately:

1. There isnt many posts in this topic *yet*, so therefore its not necassary.

2. By the looks of the link in your signature, it looks like you *may* be a little biased as to what gets posted and what doesnt.

Really? Because I own a Macintosh software licensing and support company? Not to sure what that has to do with the equation?

You never know what the future has in store for anyone, and what kind of companys will want to advertise or whatnot.

A slightly "out of left field" comment: I don't know that we should prohibit or restrict shameless adverts. At least not until it becomes a problem. And at least not as long as they relate to the Blackberry. I would rather a developer plug his product directly, than have him make the usual "...you know, I came across this graeat product..." type of comment. Also, as long as it related to the Blackberry, a lot of us are interested in EVERYTHING. I want to know what is available, where it is, how much it costs, and who I can ask about it. So, my suggestion is that if it isn't overwhelming the conversations, let's see what kind of cool things are shamelessly promoted.

p.s., I recall someone not too long ago shamelessly promoting a new forum...
