I have recently bought a black berry pearl 8130 and would like to sync it with my mac. I downloaded the pocketmac software and installed it. When I tried to open the software I got the message "the pocketmac sync manager unexpectedly quit" No matter how many times I took the reccommended steps of relaunching or resetting and relaunching I could never get the program to open. I have tried to open it both through the program itself and through the short cut. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I have tried uninstalling it, deleting, redownloading it and reinstalling it to no avail. I have also tried repairing the permissions in disk utilities. as was suggested in another thread on this site. I need help. I have never once gotten it to open! Please advise, i would be very grateful. I

When you delete PM, do a spotlight search and delete everything with the word pocketmac, then try to reinstall

Is it compatible with the OS of your Mac?

Yes, it is compatible with all OS X versions. You have to make sure you the most up to date version on PM. There are many threads about PM and the curve, and the problems associated with it. Do some searches on this forum and on crackberry.com. If memory serves me correctly crackberry has some detailed threads about PM and the curve.
