Hello,
I have the new Tour and I am having bluetooth issues in my car. It pairs correctly but then thinks it is always on a call. Has anyone experienced this problem? Thanks for any hints.

I am not sure what bluetooth is running in my car. But its in my BMW 335i.

I am having the same issue with my BMW 335i as cuyazzie. Once I connect my Tour up to the bluetooth in my car, the car acts like I am on an active call and I cannot end the call by using the "end" button on the car or on the phone. I have to disconnect my BT connection on the Tour to get it to end.

Any suggestions to what may be causing this?

I did a google search and didn't find much on your type of car built in BT radio. This my correct it shelf on the next software upgrade from RIM? Or you can call BMW and ask if they have a firmware upgrade for your Head unit?

yes i have the same problem , with my new tour in my lexus GX470, I took it in and they tested the car and hooked up 3 or 4 Bluetooth phones and they worked just great, so they said it was my device

I have the same issue with my New tour and my LExus GX470. Lexus totally checked and troublesshooted the car, then said it was my device.

There is an issue with Bluetooth (period) on the Tour. None of my bluetooth headsets work well with the device. I hope RIM is working on this!

I'm also having an issue w/a 2009 Mercedes, car often thinks I'm still on a call after I've hung up. The only way to clear the cars bluetooth is to do a battery pull on the 9630. I have used 2 other blackberry's (8830 and curve) w/no problems. This is a Tour issue.

BT works very well with my previous generation 330i. Connects/disconnects calls far faster than my Pearl ever did.

BT also works well with my BlueAnt Z9i. In fact I use it all the time because the call quality is much better than the handset's.

This really sucks ... My BB-8830 (company phone) was fine. Then IT upgraded to the 4.5Firmware. Now my '07 525i has this same problem. I'm thinking of hacking it and putting it back to 4.2FW.

Bad thing. When I turn off my vehicle, the iDrive is still on because it still thinks it is connected via BT. Becareful as this will drain you battery.

Has anyone figure out the fix?

UPDATE: I found the fix on another site

You have to do a Hard Reset on your phone. In my case, I took the battery out of my BB for 60 seconds. Put the battery back, go to your vehicle and start the car, the Bluetooth will connect ... and all is fine again in the world ... :-D

I have been having issues with the V-1 blueant and my tour locking up where you cant hear the call while the bluetooth is connected. Forceing a switch to headset or speaker phone. Today it was so bad it lockup the V1. Call Tech support at Blueant they state that Rimm know about these issues with the tour and many bluetooth devices. What is there game plan? do they have one? Blueant states the software from the tour over powers the software on the connected device causing them not to function properly.
In the end today I had to hook up the V1 to the charge cord to unfreeze it. reset it to factory settings. Delete the pairing in the tour and then reestablish the connections (a pain).

I have the blueant Q1 and the Blackberry HS655 and they both work fine on my tour using v 4.7.1.61

My phone and blue ant work beautiful for several months before the connectivity issues started.

So far the reset to factory standards on the V1 along with deleting the pairing on the tour and then reestablishing the connection has been working for the last two days.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have the same problem with my Acura and the only thing you can do is a hard reset. I also have a problem with my Blueant V9I. It now sounds like hell to every one I talk to. Blue ant is aware and says the Tour has manipulated the Bluetooth spec, that is why there are so many Bluetooth problems with this phone. Everything worked great with my old Blackberry Curve.

My new 9650, paired fine with my Hyundia Genesis, JawBone 2, and BT Stereo Gateway.
Def try the hard reset first.

My bold 9700 doesn't recognize my Bluetooth at all. It can't even come on. I've done the soft restart and still can use the Bluetooth in anyway. Could someone please come up an answer on how to fix this? Thanks.

At least I now know I'm not alone with this issue - just started this week, display says there's an active call and I can't cancel out of it -- radio works on last station, but can't change the channel or get any other functions to work, can't even turn off the power unless I turn off the engine. Will try some of these suggestion, even anyone comes up with other thoughts, posts would be appreciated -- really an annoying issue.

My issue is I cannot get my Tour to connect via bluetooth with another device to transfer any files, pics and music. Any ideas on this?
