Default Wireless Contacts Sync

Please Login to Remove!

Ok Picture this.

A manager has outlook 2003/exchange 2003 and a Blackberry. We do runa bes.

Now, her assistant has access to the managers contact lists and she adds a new contact, but it never gets replicated to the BB.

So this assistant is in her own outlook account, with rights to the managers contacts, she makes the changes on her system, but they never replicate to the blackberry.

Any ideas where to start?

I would think the BES should pick up the new address book entrys within 15-30 mintues within the mailbox rescan. Some things you can try would be the following:
1. tune the wireless sync off for about 1 min, and then back on again.
2. delete and then undelete the sync service book on the handheld. (this should start the slow sync process).

What version of BES are you running?

Let me know how it goes.

Just to rule out total synch failure, if the MANAGER adds a contact to address book, does it sync to BB?

In my Domino environment, new entries made on the desktop side are not pushed to the device until the next replication. I'd suggest performing a manual replication to see if this speeds things up any.

I'm not sure however, if performing a replication can be done to someone's account as a delegate.
