There are at least 100 posts here detailing that being disabled when you remove the VAD cod files, and the alternative methods of getting that screen.

I wanted to just write back that earlier today I did this upgrade with just a minor issue at the beginning as you read my previous posts I was guided by Jason and Sanders. Thank you. This version seems much better operationally to my phone than .55 did...in fact it sort of reminds me of .52.

I get wiffs of blackcurrent and undertones of .52 as well.

With a beef entree, I sense an oaky tannin .48 in the mouth.

You are welcome.

Totally device specific. I haven't heard of this being a problem before. GL.

Java errors are on 3rd party apps are generally caused by not installing Documents To Go.

BTW, LOVE the avatar!

Argh - Really struggling here. Downgrading to .55 earlier doesn't cut it for HTML on my 8310, and I've just tried it on a 8120 running 4.5 and still no options coming up for HTML, despite having had it on both devices previously on O2.

Unless O2 have downgraded their BIS (which I seriously doubt...) I'm at a complete loss....

(help...)

has this been discussed somewhere as to why so many things seem to dependent on documents to go? perhaps a required cod only installed with that?

Don't know why. It just is. Something is tied into it somehow.

Did you do the upgrade using Desktop Manager which is configured and connected to your BES?
In this case, the EA would happen via USB cable and you probably didn't even notice that it happened.

There's no way that you could be activated on the BES without having gone through an EA of some type (wired or wireless).
I have had that happen for the last couple betas...left it plugged in via USB and it activated that way before I noticed.

That would be because RIM is going full bore on cracking down on leaks.

has anyone seen anything weird about the line/stripes separator options? i had 2 identical red att 8310s side by side both running .69 and when using the stripes separator, on one the shading was very easy to see and well defined and on the other u could just barely make out the shading and had to hold it at an angle.

upon testing other devices it's like hit or miss as to which way it looks.

I have gotten so used to updating the bb_dimension COD from 4.5.0.10 that it is part of every OS install that I do.

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020)

What is the point of posting that? "Ha ha, I have it and you don't?". I don't think anyone refutes that its out there.
