This is the type of keypad i have been looking for which is similar to the 72xx series....

Can't have cam phone at my work.. its a shame i cant swap cases and buttons on the current 8800... only if they made the same style as some of the 87xx to swap cases

I think you'll find that while there is spacing between the keys, this device is much thinner than the 8700 or 8800, and therefore there is not a lot of room on that keypad. I would say you're looking at about the same keypad width as a Treo 750 keyboard.

I will settle with one that has camera, mp3, GPS, and all the features for at least a couple of years or so. Camera, mp3, GPS and extra storage are the priorities I look for. I almost went for Treo due to MSN msger but decided to stick with bb because it's where I'm most comfort with. Most of my previous blackberries have never hit the 2 years mark in my possession! (Have had 8700 for a year and 3 mths now.) My best friend rolls her eyes whenever I flash her with the latest bb, haha. My common-law husband seems ok with my swapping bb's as long as I come up with the money for it on my own.

I like the contours of the 8300. It looks to be more confortable in hand then my current 8800.

The BB in the video was the 8800. You can see that it has a different look than the one playing the video.

Yeah but it'll be running beta code so that's hardly surprising.

I'm guessing that they just don't have a video made for that series yet, so they included the 8800 series video in the demo unit.

In the video it does say 8800 in the end, but if you look closely when he flips the phone over, there is a camera lense in the top right hand corner. It's kind of confusing, because the 8800 does not have a camera......

I'm aware of that as I have an 8800. I think they just put the 8800 series video on the beta/test 8300 unit so it would have a video on it.
