Default How do I upload pictures from my blackberry to my PC without using e-mail. 8330

Please Login to Remove!

I have it connected right now with the USB cord but when I go to the desktop manager and go into media manager, I can't get access to any of the pictures I took on my Blackberry. All of the folders labeled pics are empty :[

Also, I would send them via e-mail but for some reason I can't set it up. This morning I was in the process but I couldn't pick a good e-mail address so I decided to wait a bit. Now whenever I try it doesn't want to connect to the internet even though I can go to sites on the web browser with no problem.

Welcome to the forums!

Rather than using media manager, you can enable Mass Storage Mode on the BB (Options -> Media Card). Then when you connect your BB to your PC, the PC sees it at just another jump drive and you can use Windows Explorer to move things around.

Thanks for the quick response. :]
However, I already knew this. What my problem is is that I'm trying to move pictures FROM my BB TO my PC and when I click my E drive and go into the pictures folder, it's empty.

I think it's because the pictures I took on my phone aren't saved on to the micro sd card but they are saved to... well... whatever they'd be saved to if I didn't have a card.

Or maybe I'm completely wrong on this. But all I know is that they aren't in my memory cards picture folder :[

Thanks again for such quick replies.

They are saved to the Device Memory of the BB...

So, go to your Media Icon > Menu > Explore > Device Memory > BlackBerry > Pictures.

Find your picture thumbnail > Menu > Move and navigate and move it to your Media Card.

You need to do this with ALL pictures sitting on your Device Memory.

Or you can pair the blackberry with your computer via bluetooth and send them straight over. Or you can email them to yourself. Or you can email them to Flickr accounts... The trick is that the USB hookup and Media Manager ONLY see the SD card, not the main device memory. (Does anyone even use Media Manager? It only seems to chew up CPU cycles to no productive effect, for me.)
