It's actually not cc'ing me. It's putting my address in the to field.

If you go into the SetUp app > Email and navigate to your email address there is a place for automatic BCC. If your address is in there you'll get every single email you send copied to you.

Since you're on BES you'd best check it with the admins at your company. They may have put that feature in on purpose.

As I said, every email I hit reply all to on my berry adds me to the "to" field, not Christine Collins or bcc. I have checked the setup on my device and my BES admin has no idea. I have even worked with two TAM's from the enterprise side of RIM and they've never seen it.

You can try this. It shows how to build a filter to stop the problem.

KB11127-Duplicate sent email messages are delivered to the BlackBerry smartphone when using Auto BCC

Is no one reading the actual posts? It's not a bcc and this is not happening on my BIS account.

Yes I read the post.
I offered that on the chance it was just an auto CC that was miss configured but I also think the BES server may be configured for "record retention" That feature is sometimes missed when a user is configured or it may be a standard the company has.
The IT admin for the BES should know of this option and how to delete it.

they usually put the dup in a second message folder but in your case it must be in the default email folder.

Yahtzee, did you find the resolution for this issue? One of our users received a replacement BB and is now having the problem. No new address or mail system. I'm on the phone with RIM support as I type this. We've confirmed Auto BCC is disabled, and no rules for bcc'ing.

Edit: The owner told me her prior phone began having the same problem after someone in the department attempted to add a POP e-mail address to that phone. RIM had me delete the account from the BES, perform a security wipe on the handheld, recreate the BES account and re-activate the device wirelessly. The owner has almost 2000 contacts so that appears to be the reason it takes about an hour to activate. Once the activation is complete we will begin testing again.

The above process fixed our issue.

The issue returned, continuing to work with RIM.
