With the rumors flying all about, I wonder if any of these new phones that are coming out (shhhh) will be nextel compatible and if they are will one be a touchscreen.........now that's a idea for us nextel ppl. yup yup

Sprint is also releasing next generation PTT services on CMDA. There may be a BB with PTT on that network.

Yes SouthWest I have seen these phone mentioned but it appears that none of them will be for the nextel ppl.

Just as NJB has stated there are no nextel phones coming out.

Oh well............

whether it is PTT on an iDEN BB or CDMA BB it's still PTT....

Nextel is dead. Users will have to migrate to Sprint or another carrier. The only reason to have Nextel is PTT, and Sprint is ramping PTT up on their network.
