Default Set alarm for weekdays only

Please Login to Remove!

On the Curve, I was able to set the alarm to turn everyday or only on weekdays. On the Bold, I can't seem to find that option?? Is there anyway to do this on the Bold (other than 3rd party applications? or manually setting alarms in the calendar?)

When you go to set the alarm on the side next to the am or pm it will say on, off, or weekday. Just change it to weekday and your golden.

It's magic! I never would've guessed.

Thanks!

hello,

this seems to have worked for you guys, but i am not able to find this option.

In the calendar, I see the alarm called "time to wake up" (hence the late night sunday post) next to 7 am. On the right, I see an alarm clock (I assume this is what is meant by on/off). I can either open the occurrence or the series. If I open the series, there is no option near the "AM" option to set it for weekdays only. In the calendar view, there is no way to scroll to the alarm clock picture (I can only select the whole row).

Can anyone point out what I am doing wrong?

Using the bold (also a new bberry user )

Thanks!

Goto Home Screen, click on the Clock icon, click the menu button and select Set Alarm. Roll the trackball to the right, choose On Off, Weekdays. Exit to save. Tada!!!

Yes, it is available in the alarm setting in Clock only, not in calendar

ah! the clock.. that worked! thanks folks.. only drawback is that if you are anything like me you need many, many alarms to wake you up! this only allows one. I guess i can set one this way and the rest through the calendar week by week.

In the Calendar, create a New Alarm and set Recurrence to Weekly and then highlight each day of the week you want it to be active and press the space bar. The days that are in bold are active. Now you can have multiple alarms scheduled weekdays only.
