I tried activating my unlocked 8330 on T-Mobile and I don't have a data plan, could someone help me out please?

Upgrade to handheld software 4.8.6.1456.
Reformat your SD card.
Turn off 3G and WiFi. Take out the battery and reactivate.

Sorted.
