I'm having a Blackberry Curve 8520 for xmas on o2, and I was wondering how would you get the BBM to work? A few of my mates couldn't get it to and I wanted to know so when I get my phone, I can get it straight away. Thanks.

You need a blackberry data plan.
O2 offer a Blackberry bolt-on to contracts, Simplicity for Blackberry SIM Only plan, or PAYG Blakcberry Web and Text Plan.

You need one of those to get BBM working.
