Default Forced Apps from Bell

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys..

Very new to the BB world and I am needing some advice on the following...

I am with Bell Canada and they seem to have installed a non-removable app "Bell PVR", it seems I can hide the app, but I really want to delete it as I have no use for this app. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys!

I'm not familiar with Bell, but at&t pushes a bunch of these things. They are not apps but links to install apps if we want. Most of us simply hide them.

Yep. And typically when you signed up for service, you agreed to allow them to push things to the device.

Just hide the icons and forget about them.

It's not an app, yet, just a link to download the app, unless you already have. Hide it, or place it in a folder that you hide and call it a day. Memory-wise, it MIGHT be a few bytes...really won't affect you in any way. It's no larger than a Windows desktop shortcut, if even that.

Another vote to hide. If you delete, every time you reboot, it will be pushed to the device again.
