Not with the upcoming iPad - any additional bandwidth and towers will be greatly appreciated.

Exactly. If iPad is successful, the demands on bandwidth are likely to be huge.

Won't make a difference to me. I still won't use AT&T.

Luckily I live in an area where AT&T service is excellent, including stable 3G service. That said, I'm all about AT&T continuing to improve their network.

Maybe they will spend less on advertising now... I'm tired of the AT&T and VZW commercials. Every 2 minutes.....

If they don't upkeep their infrastructure it will start to crumble.. So If they do it right it will help.

Want to bet ATT introduces bandwidth charges over a certin point to slow down the growth. They will start with the home DSL users first I bet. then move to the other services if they see $$$$$

Brilliant!

Maybe you should call AT&T and let the engineers know. That way they don't spend the money for the upgrades. And hey, maybe they will even recognize your vast knowledge on this issue and thank you for helping them to avoid wasting their time.
