The Todo list maker on the aftermarket forms is a great app. Now that I have 4x's the memory I can download Viigo again and not worry about memory leak issues :D

Get google maps, beyond411, and opera mini. All those work really well. I just downloaded slacker music player but I'm not too sure how much I like it because it takes awhile to buffer up for me. But I think its j
ust a personal problem

Does Yahoo-GO! work yet? I liked that on my 8320.

Ones that I have installed on the 8900 now:

Quickpull - essential, because I also run
Viigo - which is a memory hog.

Is Quickpull similar to SoftReset, allows you to reset the device instead of pulling the battery? I had SoftReset on my Pearl 8100 and Curve 8320, and I had moved it to my new 8900 but then found out that you can do LeftAlt+RightShift+Delete to reset.

It simulates a battery pull, and you can set it to function automatically on a schedule. Every morning at 3:30 my 8900 freshens up for a new day.

If you use YouMail (which is a wonderful voice mail application), I highly recommend VyMail!

I use Viigo and Google Maps daily. I recommend those and they are free of course.

I get all kinds of questions before it bothers to reboot... And then when it finally does it takes a lot longer than a simple battery-yanking...

The first question is "are you sure you want to reeboot?"
the answers are "Yes" or "no" or "Schedule"
Choose schedule, set it, forget it. You should never have to interact with the program again.

BlackBerry - BlackBerry Media Sync – Tuned Up
I recommend BB Mediasynch for anyone who uses iTunes. Free, just dl/install, connect BB. It reads your media card's free space, then you just hit synch and it first scans your playlist songs for album art via iTunes. Then you check what playlists you want to synch from your iTunes (it changes free card memory after each checkmark) hit synch and that's all. Playlist appears in Music section with the covers. Very fast and simple. I'm told Media Manger is a royal PIA and sloooow to boot (I didn't install that). This works great, try it.

I second that. BB Media Sync works very well for me and it is still my primary vehicle for putting my music on my BB.

Since BBMS for Mac disables other sync programs, what is the best way for us Mac user to transfer iTunes lists? Do PocketMac and Missing Sync work well for music or are they as bad at that as for most everything else?

BBweather, Google Maps, Gmail, Slacker, Bolt browser, Nav4All, Facebook, XBerryLive, BerryTorch, and Quickpull. I also have launchers for YouTube, ESPN, Chowhound, and TVGuide.

Interesting question.
You can set your BB's MSMS (Mass Storage Mode Support) to "On"/"Yes" Options >>> Memory >>> MSMS "On" and "Yes" when connected. Then Save!
Now, when connecting to your Mac via USB, your BB will show up as an icon on your Desktop. Double-click on it and go to the Music portion of the files. Now just drag songs from your iTunes directly into your BB.

Side note: Your OS must be Mac OS X version 10.5.5 or higher! I bet most people don't own Macs this new.
