I have two apps that I have already upgraded, yet in the My World section, I see the asterisks on the same apps stating that a new version is available. However, the apps in question are current. I wanted to get rid of those damn asterisks, so I downloaded the same version and re-booted the device as required. To my dismay, the same asterisks are there. Any idea on how I can correct this?

Unfortunately not... I think there are some deep problems with App World. I have two apps with upgrade notices on them, but when I try I am told that apps are 'not available from App World'. This has been happening for a while, despite an OS upgrade and upgrading App World itself from V1 to V2 on my 9700, and nobody has any straight answers about what's wrong.

i had same problem yesterday but i had astrieks on home screen of the app world but when i went into app world there werent any listed.
so i rebooted no luck
i then deleted the last app i updated still problem so i connected it to blackeberry desktop and it seem to resolve the situation.
