Default new T-Mobile USA service book for 8300 browser...

Please Login to Remove!

I can't take credit for this one -- saw it on a thread on the *other* BB site... But for all us 8300 users on T-Mobile, it looks like good news.

If you go to Host Routing Tables and reregister - TMo will shoot you a new service book that for configuring your BB web browser. I see at least one new item in my favorites, and T-Zones now recognizes my phone as an 8300.

At least a couple of people on the other forum have reportedly succeeded in getting the standard TMo service books and browser with the latest 8300 OS (Voda I believe). I haven't had time to try this yet - either later tonight for first thing in the AM. But I think the 8300 is finally properly supported on TMo!!!

I just watched at least 3 people "over there" post their success using the latest VodafoneSmartone OS, getting full browser service books from TMo on their Curves! I'm downloading now...(I can personally attest to seeing the new service book from TMo even with the O2 OS -- just go to HRT, register, and you'll see it in a few mins...)

Remember to delete vendor.alx on the PC after the PC install, and before connecting the BB and running DM...

So I'm guessing none of you guys are gonna hop in the 8320 bandwagon?

I would if I didn't have to go to bed soon. Have to be up way too early to stay up with this tonight if it doesn't work. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I'll be on it first thing Monday morning. Getting two. Plan on taking full advantage of the Hotspot@Home.

I guess T-mobile is getting ready for the 8300 launch next week.
