Default Black is the New Black (8100 Black Wallpapers)

Please Login to Remove!

Black, or black themed, wallpapers. I claim no ownership of the content, I have no such artistic ability -- some of these were taken from the 240x320 wallpaper thread over on HoFo (user Phat^Trance's thread) and creatively cropped. Others were found on I think mobile41.com (??), so all credit goes to the original authors. (*)

Primarily designed for the T-Mobile Zen theme, the indicators should be 100% legible and text readable at a glance. Please add *your* black-themed wallpapers for us to look at too!

(*) a few had some edits made to content only to get rid of artwork that was seriously interfering with an indicator of some sort when I looked at them on my handset. In no way was I altering content as a slight to the authors.

They are pretty cool. Black background works nicely on the 8100.

NP! I did a Tux theme for the 8700 you can view the screen shots (its tux wallpaper, tux invisible icons, and tux and chuck wallpaper on incoming calls) at the bottom of the thread (p. 99 at the bottom if link below does not take you directly to that section of the thread):

There's a cool group on Flickr (loose tie-in here for us Black lovers ) called '000000' that always has neat pics:

Hey thanks for the advice! I can rework if necessary. I actually don't have an 8100 I have an 8700 so not a terrible amount of effort was put in. CRAP! I didn't realize we had critics (lol) - looks like I need to put my game on or get out. You are correct, though. Sorry man ... it was an interest level thing and slapping stuff together. You are definitely justified in the call out! I stand corrected.
