New Symbol on screen when making a phone call

Whenever I'm connected on a phone call, to the left of the volume symbol, I have a new symbol. Looks like a playing card turned on it's side, with 5 dots arranged diagonally from the upper left to the lower right.
Everything else seems the same, just curious what the symbol means.
