Default Noise cancelling headset.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I make a lot of sales calls in places like Starbucks and fast food restaurants, and I am looking for a noise cancelling headset to go with my Tour 9630. I have a bluetooth device that works fine except that it picks up all of the background noise. Can anyone suggest a headset?

Thanks!

JawboneII, absolutely great for noise canceling. I tested it in my car with wind noise and the radio on a good medium volume in the background and my callers said it was barely discernible.

The later model, Jawbone Prime might be good also, I just haven't used it. The II is at a very good price now on places like ecost.com

Plantronics Voyager Pro or (I haven't tried this one yet) the new Plantronics 975

I have the Pro (crystal clear) and it is what it says it is. If you or person on the other end hears background, it's defective, take it back and get another one.

This is the best I have found.

Amazon.com: VXI Blueparrot Roadwarrior Bluetooth Noise Cancelling B250-XT Headset: Cell Phones & Service

Real big on the geek factor, though.

Make sure that the Jawbone is the Jawbone PRIME, not the Jawbone II (aka New Jawbone). IMO, there is a big difference.

I bought the Plantronics 975 and tried it out. Didn't work well with my Tour, so I took it back. I'd get an intermittent synch problem with a strange noise.
